Dr Albert Kariuki Attends MICE 2026 Round Table

Dr Albert Kariuki, Director of the Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre – Eastern Africa (GTRCMC-EA), participated in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) 2026 Investors and Stakeholders Round Table held at Trademark Hotel, Nairobi.

The round table brought together leaders from government, the hospitality industry, aviation, investment, professional associations, academia, the media  and the wider business events ecosystem. The forum provided a platform for stakeholders to deliberate on strategies for strengthening Kenya’s position as a leading Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) destination while promoting sustainable growth across Africa’s business events sector.

The discussions focused on fostering collaboration, attracting investment, enhancing innovation and building resilience within the MICE industry. The engagement reaffirmed the importance of partnerships among key stakeholders in shaping the future of Kenya’s and Africa’s business events landscape.
