GTRCMC-EA, Director Dr. Albert Kariuki hosted a representative from Hafun Kitesurfing Consortium, Puntland, Dhr. Guled Yusuf to discuss areas of collaboration and partnership.
The objective was to discuss how GTRCMC-EA can assist in reshaping the global narrative around Somalia through academic innovation and tourism resilience for Hafun to become a beacon of resilience and prosperity.
The Centre looks forward to future engagements and collaborations to safeguard the tourism industry in Eastern Africa through policy relevant research and training and capacity building.
