*A Night to Remember at KICC!* More than 140 young changemakers, joined by academic, policy, and industry leaders, gathered on *Sunday, April 27, 2025* , for an unforgettable East Africa Future Leaders Challenge Dinner — a celebration of learning, exploration, and fun! 
The event was hosted by the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Hon. Rebecca Miano, Patron of the GTRCMC-EA, KU and the Challenge, represented by Mr. Ngari Gituku.
This high-level opener marked the start of the first-ever East Africa Future Leaders Challenge, a part of a global initiative aimed at equipping youth with the skills and vision to transform Africa’s tourism sector. 
The CS emphasized the vital role of young people in leading sustainable tourism development across East Africa — “the future and the present”, driven by creativity, energy, and fresh ideas! 
The future of tourism is bright, and it starts now!
The event will take place from 28-29th April 2025 at Strathmore University.
