Running for Education, Conservation & Hope!

The *25th edition* of the Lewa Safari Marathon is officially launched!  I’m honored to be part of the launch at Safaricom House on 12th March 2025, championing this iconic race that drives *conservation, community impact, and unforgettable* moments.

From a small classroom in Mutunyi to shaping global tourism resilience, my journey has been fueled by the transformative power of education, community, and conservation—all values at the heart of the *Lewa Safari Marathon* .

Lewa is more than a *wildlife conservancy* ; it is a beacon of opportunity. Through education programmes, clean water projects, sustainable farming, and healthcare, Lewa has uplifted thousands of families—including mine. Thanks to Lewa’s unwavering commitment, I stand here today as a proud alumna, a global tourism leader, and a firm believer that conservation thrives when communities thrive.

Every step you take in this marathon changes lives— *funding scholarships, protecting wildlife, and securing a future* where people and nature flourish together. To the late Mama Delia and Mzee David Craig, to William Craig for sparking my international journey, their immense support, and unwavering guidance, and to Ian Craig for building an education legacy—I am forever grateful.
