GTRCMC-EA Researchers actively participated in the Tree Planting activity in the Main Campus Dairy Farm held on Friday, June 14, 2024.
In joining the global efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change, tree planting is an important environmental conservation strategy as it helps in carbon offsetting, soil protection, and habitat sustainance.
Kenyatta University has partnered with a number of stakeholders in the propagation of seedings and tree growing in order to achieve the target for growing 15 billion trees by 2032 as per the government directive led by H.E President Dr. William Ruto.
