Kenya celebrated sustainable tourism efforts and excellence at a colorful Eco Warrior 2023 Gala event in Trademark Hotel on 26th October 2023. The Chief Guest was Hon John Ololtuaa the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, who represented the Cabinet Secretary. The Chief Judge was the Director, Global Tourism Resilience and Crisis Management Centre Eastern Africa, Kenyatta University.
Close to 40 accommodation, travel, conservation, community, youth and training organizations, institutions and individuals were awarded.
The GTRCMC-EA is in the forefront in advocating for tourism sustainability for long-term resilience.
