GTRCMC-EA is currently hosting the 3is Conference. The 3is project, funded under ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-1, aims to enhance higher education in Eastern Africa, particularly in less developed and remote areas of Somalia, Ethiopia, and Kenya. Commencing with a conference at Kenyatta University on March 7th and 8th, 2024, the project involves collaboration among eleven partners from Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Spain, and Greece. Focused on capacity building, the initiative seeks to empower African universities to develop policy instruments and action plans in crucial areas such as internationalization, inclusiveness, educational innovations, academic excellence, community and industry outreach, and regional integration.
